Product introduction

SS400 Square steel is a hot-rolled solid square bar. SS stands for structural steel, and 400 stands for a minimum tensile strength of 400MPa. This material has low carbon content, excellent welding performance, easy cutting, bending, drilling, and machining, stable mechanical properties, and high overall cost performance. It is a commonly used solid profile for steel structures and equipment racks.

The products have regular cross-sections and controllable dimensional tolerances. The delivery form is mainly hot-rolled black leather. Pickling and polished surfaces can also be provided on demand. There is no built-in anti-corrosion coating. It can be directly welded and assembled, or it can be subsequently spray-painted or galvanized for anti-rust treatment. It is widely used in steel structure brackets, mechanical equipment bases, frame components, guardrails, shelves, engineering machinery accessories, building embedded components, hardware processing blanks, etc. It is suitable for normal temperature static and medium load conditions, and is not suitable for low temperature, high impact, strong acid and alkali corrosive environments. Corrosive environments require protective coatings.

SS400 Carbon Steel Coil
