Product introduction

Wire rods are hot-rolled wire rods, which are made from steel billets that are rolled into large coils after high-speed hot rolling. They are the basic raw materials for the metal products industry. There are a wide variety of materials, and low carbon steel has excellent plasticity, which is convenient for subsequent cold drawing, straightening, upsetting, wire drawing, and bending processing; medium carbon steel and alloy steel can be used for parts with higher strength requirements. The cross-section size of the product is stable, and the coiled shape is convenient for storage, transportation and continuous processing. Pretreatments such as pickling, phosphating, and oiling can be carried out according to downstream needs.

Q195, Q235, SAE1008, SAE1010, SWRCH series and other brands are available. It is widely used in the manufacture of steel wire, nails, welding rods, fasteners, wire ropes, wire mesh, hardware products, cold heading parts, construction steel mesh raw materials, etc. The base material does not have long-term anti-corrosion capabilities, and the bare material is prone to rust when stored. Surface pretreatment can be performed to improve subsequent processing performance. It is not suitable for direct use in strong corrosion conditions. After the finished product is made, it can be equipped with anti-corrosion processes such as galvanizing and spray painting.

API 5L X42 line pipe and API 5L X52 line pipe (Seamless and welded pipe) of all grades have PSL1 and PSL2 two product specifications, they are different on chemical composition, manufacturing processes, mechanical strength, heat treatment, test records, traceability etc. Actually, X42 and X52 etc. denote the minimum yield strength of the pipe steel. X42 has the minimum yield strength of 42 kilopound/square inch and X52 has the 52 ksi.

PPGI DC01

Plus with painting, it is more durable than galvanized steel.The metallic coated steel then experiences some cleaning procedures, pre-treatment solutions and ultimately gets multiple layers of organic coatings, including laminates, vinyl dispersions, and paint. This continuous technique of applying different coatings is referred to as coil coating. Therefore, the steel coil doesnt require painting or finishing when employed in finished products.

AH36 Carbon Steel Plate
