S235JR Carbon steel coil is a European standard non-alloy structural steel hot-rolled carbon steel coil. The JR in S235JR represents that the impact test is conducted at room temperature (+20°C). This material has low carbon content, good plasticity, toughness and welding performance, stable processing performance, and is easy to shear, bend, stamp, and roll forming. It is a general-purpose carbon steel material.

The product has no surface coating, and the base material itself has reliable basic mechanical strength, economical cost, and rich supply specifications. It is often used as raw material for subsequent processing, and can be further used for cutting parts, stamping components, welding brackets, and can also be used as a substrate to process galvanized, galvalume, color-coated and other coated steel materials. It is widely used in steel structure components, mechanical equipment bases, shelves, guardrails, pipe supports, container accessories, general parts of engineering machinery and various sheet metal processing parts. It is suitable for use under normal temperature conditions. It is not recommended to be used in environments with strict low-temperature impact requirements and highly corrosive media. Anti-rust coatings are required in corrosive environments.
