Wire rods are round steel with relatively small diameter. The commodity form is supplied in coils. On the construction site, the common ones are those with diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, most of which are low carbon steel. Generally, they are not used for the main reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures, but are mainly used for making reinforcement sleeves. There are also small diameter "brick reinforcement" used in brick concrete structures.

It has higher tensile strength and cold work hardening properties, good plasticity, and can be bent, braided, stamped, and spot welded. The hardness increases significantly after cold drawing, the mechanical performance is stable at room temperature, it has basic anti-rust and anti-oxidation capabilities, and the price/performance ratio is better than 304.
Compacted wire rope, also available as cut sheet and plate, is a special steel wire rope processed by compacting (swaging) after stranding. During production, the stranded rope is mechanically compressed to reduce the outer diameter, making the steel wires tightly fitted with each other. It features a smooth round surface, high metal filling coefficient, larger breaking force and good wear resistance.
GB/T5224 Steel strand is a prestressed steel strand produced in accordance with the national standard GB/T5224. It is twisted from multiple high-strength galvanized/smooth steel wires.
K19S Compacted wire rope is a K19S structure compacted strand steel wire rope. The common structures are 6×K19S and 8×K19S. S stands for Seale structure. During production, the steel wire rope strands are die-drawn and compacted.
Stainless steel wire is stainless steel wire, which is made from stainless steel blanks through multi-pass cold drawing and annealing processes.
Wire rods are hot-rolled wire rods, which are made from steel billets that are rolled into large coils after high-speed hot rolling. They are the basic raw materials for the metal products industry.
